Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Weekends Only

Starting Pay: $26.00 per hour

Schedule: Saturday - Sunday, 9 am to 5 pm.
Please note: There will be professional development sessions held on Wednesdays. These are not weekly, but they are required and scheduled in advance so team members can plan ahead. They’re a great opportunity to grow your skills and stay connected.

Are you a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) looking to make a real impact? Join OPI Houston (FKA Fulshear), where we empower young women+ (18-28) on their mental health journey. You'll play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive environment while providing essential nursing care.

As a Weekend only LVN, you will provide coverage for one location at a time across our Needville and Stafford campuses, ensuring seamless care for two programs. Your role is essential in maintaining continuity of care and supporting our clients' healing and recovery.

At OPI Houston, we specialize in trauma-informed, attachment-based therapy, incorporating cognitive-behavioral, equine-assisted, and family therapy to foster lasting change. Our beautiful 34-acre ranch near Houston, TX, provides the perfect setting for transformation.

• Medical Coordination & Documentation – Schedule and follow up on medical appointments, communicate physician’s orders with the RN and treatment team, and maintain accurate medical and medication records.
• Medication Management – Collaborate with pharmacies to ensure medication accuracy and availability, prepare medications for home passes and discharges, and administer medications as scheduled.
• Client Monitoring & Testing – Conduct urine drug screens as needed, monitor and document client vital signs and weight, and ensure timely health assessments.
• Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance – Uphold and enforce compliance with medication protocols, health regulations, and best practices to ensure high-quality care and patient safety, while actively participating in quality assurance initiatives and team training.

• Current LVN License – Active and valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Texas.
• Experience – Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred, demonstrating proficiency in nursing practices.
• Effective Communication – Ability to clearly and accurately convey medical information to clients, parents, and co-workers, fostering understanding and collaboration.
• Candidates must be prepared to establish a CAQH profile and obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) as part of the onboarding process.
